Per usual when Tim puts me in charge of remembering our calendar, we showed up an hour early for Jen and Ian’s session. It gave us a little time to scout out the spot they chose and also to enjoy the beautiful skyline of my beloved home city. I grew up in a much crappier part of Portland (don’t hate me Beaverton- it was just a lot of concrete)… but always love coming “home” to this beautiful city!
Jen and Ian are both Doctors. I know what you’re thinking, how can two gorgeous doctors meet and fall in love in real life? We thought it was just a thing that happens on TV, but it’s not. Even better, Jen and Ian are down to earth, love to laugh and are super fun to hang out with. We loved hearing about their life in Portland which sounds straight crazy with all the hours they work, still they found time to get engaged WHILE making their very own beer at Crux! It was good beer too- if I do say so myself.
Seriously though, I loved their engagement story! If you’re looking for a fun way to get engaged I would highly recommend a DIY small batch brewing session with Crux. Not only do you get to have a fun and memorable experience, you can drink that beer for years to come on all your special occasions!
We’re so excited for Jen and Ian to get married- but even more excited to see where life leads them. Congratulations to two very special people!
