It’s not often we get to capture love in its newer stages. Thinking back, I cherish those first few years of dating Tim. That time when you just can’t help looking over at that person and thinking “how did I get so lucky?” Before the mortgage, before the insanity of planning your wedding… there’s this sweet time when you’re just suuuuuper in love and everything is alright in the world.
Nothing beats that feeling of falling for someone. Ashley and Luke are still in those early stages. Their love is exciting, sweet and full of potential. We loved going on this adventure with them, you can feel the love, can’t you?
Adventures have always been a huge part of our relationship. When we started Gallivan Photo, we were intentional about creating opportunities to photograph our couples in every corner of the Pacific Northwest. Whether it be The Palouse, Fort Rock, The Alvord Desert or down in a cave, we’re into it. We assembled a kick ass team for this shoot including Central Oregon’s best baker/pastry chef Nikol of Foxtail Bakeshop. She never disappoints.
Our love notes were made lettered by Casey at My Fair Letters. Her work is always tops.
Kaelin McDowell got up at the crack of dawn to do Ashley’s hair and makeup and it turned out absolutely perfect for the theme.
Mike Hiatt Media created a stunning video with oh so many ooooooooooh moments. Mike and Jess shot our wedding, and we shot theirs. So we take any chance we can to get out of town with them and make art together. Scroll aaaaalllll the way down to see the video.
