Chelsea and Jesse are both thoroughly delightful people to be around. They have a light hearted cuteness that we’ve never seen before. When it came time for their day, they made an effort to create a beautiful and memorable event for their family and friends. They included lots of small sentimental touches that showed just how thoughtful they were in making decisions about their day. If there’s one thing we love, it’s when couples do EXACTLY what they want for their day, even if it’s to the dismay of others. In this case, and in the case of most of our weddings, Chelsea and Jesse had exactly the day they wanted, and their family and friends felt honored and proud to be part of it.

Black Butte Ranch is always a beautiful venue to shoot at, but in the late summer it’s incredible. Just a little bit of wildfire smoke creates incredible sunsets and the warm weather mixed with the cool winds coming off the lake make it the perfect spot for a fully outdoor wedding. Chelsea was one of our first brides to rock two dresses, one for the ceremony and one for party time. I loved both gowns, but the reception dress was especially fun and original. It was the perfect dress for their sunset portraits. Florals by Woodland Floral were so beautiful and hair and makeup by Edge Hair and Makeup was flawless (as always).
