I’m writing this blog post after a trip to Summer Lake Hotsprings. Tim took me there for my 32nd birthday. It was the perfect time to rest and reflect on how lucky we are to live this life together. I say it so often, it’s almost become a cliche. I think we are some of the luckiest people on earth to get to spend each day working as a team with some of the kindest, and most genuine couples in the PNW and beyond.

I could talk about how we got to shoot in Kauai, Vermont and all over the Northwest this year, but truthfully, the heart of this job is not the places we go, it’s the connections we make with people on their best day. No matter where we are, it’s the people who matter. Without our clients, we’d just be tourists with huge cameras taking photos of leaves and stuff, with our couples, we’re making once in a lifetime memories.

Each of these images were handpicked by Tim to show the laughter, joy, hilarity and sweetness that comes with the territory we love so much. He’s a man of fewer words, but he sure can curate a collection (of photos, or songs- dude is good at mixes) He puts together a collection like this every year, and every year I cry and laugh scrolling through the countless memories we got to witness. I just feel so lucky to see so much good in people.

This work has made us happier, more fulfilled and connected to others than we thought possible when we first started. Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every client who has trusted us in 2018 to tell their story. We love you all!
