Karley and Michael were our sort of people. They took nearly all of their vacation time to jet off to Oregon for a trip of a lifetime. While they were here, they got hitched.

When we first got the inquiry from these two, we knew they were going to be super fun to work with. They didn’t have a specific idea of where they wanted to tie the knot, so we spent a few months exchanging ideas. Eventually, they settled on Wahclella Falls, and on the hike in, we came to realize just how important it was to them to make this trip.

“Oh my god, where are we?!? It’s so beautiful!” Karley said around each and every bend in the trail.

As a native Oregonian, it’s hard to imagine a world that doesn’t look like this. Stepping into their shoes for the day made me appreciate this magical place I’ve called home for my whole life.

Michael and Karley’s wedding was on a misty hill overlooking the falls. It was one of the most beautiful things we’ve ever witnessed, and we feel so honored to have been there to document it.
